| It is located next to the Kafkaca (Kafci) Village; 4.8 km east of the hills across Euromos; 8 km north-northwest of the Milas District of the Mugla Province. No excavation has been conducted yet. The Temple of Apollo and Artemis is located on a low hill. Both deities were worshipped here under the name of "Gods of Olymos". The analysis showed that the blocks were tightly connected by means of clamps. Thus; it is presumably from the Hellenistic Period. It is suggested that the temple is located out of the city; for which no remains could have been identified yet [Akarca 1954:132]. |
